This year was our year to go to Oregon for Christmas. We decided to stay in Utah for Christmas then travel up to Oregon the day after so we wouldn't have to travel with all the Christmas stuff. I was really excited for Christmas this year with Cannon being older and actually more aware of what was going on.

Christmas morning:
Cannon actually had to be woken up, so we have a video of his reaction...not too terribly happy about being woken up... (you can see that we are all wearing our new PJ's that we got Christmas Eve)
(I am going to try to post the video later...my computer was taking WAY too long.)
After opening presents at our hose we went and ate breakfast with the Whitesides. Then we opened presents with them. Later in the afternoon we went to visit with my Grandma Hamberlin, Uncle David, Aunt Deb and Uncle Jeff in SLC. I was able to visit my Grandma Davis before Christmas, since my family wasn't coming down we had to go and visit everybody before we left for Oregon.

Day after Christmas:
Bright and early we were on the road to Oregon. (Around 5am, if my memory is correct.) We were able to meet up with Chey and Tim near Boise, it was fun for Cannon to see his cousins along the way. Cannon was an ANGEL on the road. We only had to stop TWICE the whole way! That DVD player that Josh was able to get on black Friday was worth every penny! We made it to my parents house in record timing, 11 hours!
Once we arrived at my parents house, Chey and Tim were close behind us and everyone else was there except my parents. They unfortunately had to work in the store that day, but once they were home we opened presents with them.

Cannon learned how to say "Grandpa" while up in Oregon. He started out saying it "gam-pa" but every once in a while it would come out "pa-gum." He got it right after a couple days and had no problem, but it made us laugh in the mean time.

Oh my gosh, Cannon sure went to town with your mascara! I wish Carson would go out and play in the snow. He's never really liked it, I'm guessing that it's probably because he doesn't like to keep his gloves on and his fingers get cold. :) "Pa-gum" still cracks me up!
