That's all we have to say! We have been planning on discontinuing birth control a couple of months ago and needless to say, the week after we had stopped using it, along came a positive pregnancy test. That's right, the Whitesides are pregnant! We found out on September 18th, (Harm's birthday) as I was driving home from class! Harm called me while I was walking out to my car and I told her that I already knew she was pregnant and to just take the pregnancy test. She did so, and when I got home...we saw two little pink lines on the pregnancy test! A few days later she took another one just to make sure it was the real deal and lo and behold, positive again! Well the funny part is we decided to tell my parents at their house and emailed Harm's parents the same pictures you see here. Then tonight, we decided we would let the word out to everyone in the family. I had previously asked my Mom to have my Dad call on me to say the blessing on the Sunday dinner and in the middle of the prayer said, "...and please bless Harmony as she is pregnant....and also bless that no one will open their eyes during the prayer...in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!" Then everyone burst out with, "are you serious???" We confirmed our little secret that yes, we are indeed prego! Well Harm's first appointment is on October 22 and we're excited to know all the little details. She is about 8 weeks along so far so pray that everything goes well. So that's our story. The white babies are making a comeback!
