A Toy Story

Yes, Cannon STILL has an obsession with Woody from Toy Story. He carried his around everywhere and anything that I make Cannon do, he makes Woody do. Hence the following pictures... I was telling Cannon to say, "cheese" (Which is why he is making the funny face. He is literally saying it.) So then he was making Woody say cheese and holding him up to the camera. Cannon seriously cracks me up!

Visit from the Davis'

My parents came to visit for about a week, we all had a BLAST seeing them! Cannon loves to his is Grandpa Ed, Grandma Liz and Uncle Bry. (Bry is just the coolest to Cannon!) Grandpa Ed even brought his own "Woody boots" (and hat, belt and vest) to show Cannon. Of course Cannon LOVED them! You can see he even tried to put Grandpa's boots on!

While they were in town, Grandpa Ed took Cannon and Carson to Smith & Edwards and bought them each a cowboy hat. (Or as Cannon calls it, his "woody hat.") Cannon has not parted from it since he got it! He wears his cowboy boots and hat EVERYWHERE now! (So stinkin' cute!)

Stud Muffin'

Usually when Josh watches Cannon he thinks of some type of creative way to get him to eat his food. (Because eating just plain food is...DUH...boring!) With Cannon it's all about the presentation. Hence the invention of "apple fries." Cut up an apple normally and "blah" is usually the response you would get, BUT cut it up in small sticks like fries they magically turn into "apple fries!" (YUM!) And he eats them! This time Cannon was being JUST like his Dad and cutting the fries with the spatula. (Josh can never leave food alone. Once he is full he will proceed to play with the left overs until somebody catches him!)

A while back we were at ShopKo and Cannon found some Buzz Lightyear sunglasses. Needless to say, it was love at first sight. At that point it's easier to pay the $5 and let him have them, then to try and fight it. He still loves this glasses. I usually will keep them in his backpack because he will usually ask for them when it's bright in the car. It's so cute to see him walking around in them just like a little boy! That's my little stud muffin'!

True Life. . .

I watched Lincoln while Ben and Ness took Jayben to Lagoon. For some reason that morning when I woke up I felt, and I'm sure looked, like death! I had a headache that pounded all day. The poor boys were left with a sub-par enthusiastic Mom/Aunt that day. But I decided to watch them as they cooled off in Cannon's kiddie pool. It was great because I could relax and watch them while they played. (Win win!)

Later on that night Cannon decided to take some pictures of Josh. Not too bad, I think...

Then even later just after eating Ramen noodles, Cannon choked and proceeded to throw up ALL over Josh. Gross, I know, but Josh thought we should document it because that is what parenting is all about!

There's A Snake In My Boot!

Cannon STILL loves boots, and boots of any kind! He will go into my closet and put on "mommy's boots." (He thinks they are my cowboy boots.) Although Mommy's boots are a lot harder to walk in!

Sleeping boy...

Sometimes Cannon truly runs until he physically no longer can! Here are a couple pictures of him falling sleep. What a cutie!

 Asleep on the couch. (6-2-11)

Asleep with his boots on, told you he loved them! (6-5-11)
